William
Morín is a
passionate singer, guitarist and composer from New York
City who has given many solo concerts since making San
Francisco his home. William has been wowing audiences
with his unique vocal bravado and emotionally packed
solo performances, combining beautiful classic Spanish
ballads, rousing jazz and latin numbers, original pieces
and songs in any of nine languages. Among many venues,
William has performed at the Plush Room of the York
Hotel, The Palace Hotel, The Palace of Fine Arts and the
Fairmont Hotel, to name only a few.
The Examiner proclaimed
William as "a rare talent…beautiful (the) way he
manipulates those strings, the silken embrace of his
voice and the universal appeal of his lyrics." An
audience member described William’s show like this: "I
felt as if I had been at a masseuse for two hours!" And
L. Pierce Carson of the Napa Valley Register declared,
"William Morín is the real McCoy—a first rate
talent…this guy is amazing!"
William is especially
committed to causes, offering performances for AIDS and
cancer research and support, homelessness, and recently,
the Katrina Hurricane Relief Effort. William began 2005
by donating the proceeds of his first performance toward
the Tsunami relief effort.
